I was just reflecting as I read some of the psalms of king David this morning: “But you, O Lord, are a shield that surrounds me.You are my glory.You hold my head high. I call aloud to the Lord,and he answers me from his holy mountain. Selah I lie down and sleep.I wake up again because the Lord continues to support me.” (Psalm 3:3-5 GWT)
Even when we don’t understand situations in our lives The Lord is still with us. He strengthens us and gives us confidence to continue serving Him. Even though God may seem far away, when we call to Him, He still hears us. He comforts us and watches over us in the night. In the day or in the night, God is continually with us, any time of day He is listening to our prayers.
